Things that I have learnt in English class

I have learnt how to write newspaper articles.
We need to follow some rules:

1. What is the project?
2. Who was involved in this project?
3. Why did they plan thids project?
4. Where did this project happan?
5. When did it happen?
6. What did people think?

We also pay attention to quotes,past tense,passive voice,avdrence and vocabulary.

The International Food Fair

The International Food Fair was held!It was held in Methodist College on the 7Th December, 2007.It was the special event of F.2 students.Before the Food Fair,all F.2 students worked hard for decorating and making food although they had trouble.
On that day,F.1 students need to paid $2 for each food and the money would donated to a charity call "Doctor's without Bothers".The F.2 students shouted and selling the food hard.They also decorated well for their own stall.Everyone enjoyed the Food Fair.

Things that I ahve learnt in English lesson

I have learnt how to make a poster,prepare a programme and the adjective of the country.
Also,I have learnt more about Japanese because I made Japanese food in the food fair.

The experiment of the food fair

Before the Food Fair, I am very frightened because the member said the food will not sell well.When the food fair started,As the members said the sales volume was very bad and my members were not active for selling.This made me dejected.I went around with Muky for selling the cold noodles and roast beef.At the beginning,the form one students were not buy these.I felt upset and no faith.At last,we sold it all!The cold noodles sold out quickly.I was touched beyond words.I am very disappointed with this food fair because for the measures.I saw other groups were very disordered and they were cried and angry.At last,we cleaned the lower hall.I feel successful for the food fair.I have learnt to help others when they have trouble.This is a memorable experience.At last,I need to thank you Mr.Woo for helping us althought we made lots of problems.

Other information about Japan

Japanese pay attention to polite so they have many rules eating sashimi and sushi.

When we eat sashimi,we need to pay attention to the steps:

1. put the sashimi flatways in the plate


2. put some wasabi on the middle of the sashimi


3. roll up the sashimi and wrap up the wasabi with some soya sauce

• When we eat sashimi, if stir the wasabi and soya sauce together,we eat is the peppered taste is not the fresh of the sashimi

These are the steps and the tips of eating sushi:

1. put the wasabi into the sushi
2. put the sushi turn over to 90 degrees use chopsticks or hand clip the sushi
3. turn downward the sashimi and add some sauce to eat

• Eating sushi and eat sashimi is the same.If we put lots of wasabi,it would not eat the taste of the sashimi
• Eat the taste is the lightest

Japanese eat ginger and drink a hot tea after eating a dish because need to clean the taste of the mouth and prepare to eat others taste of sushi

Japanese eat sushi don't make the rice fall down to the sauce because it would make the sauce bad and it is an impolite

I have found many information of Japanese,but they are too many and I can't list all.I think these are the main of the Japanese how to eating and we should change our bad habit for eating sushi.

Feelings of making an advertisement for the food fair

I have learnt who to make the captions of movie and how to make the chocolate souffles.I like the process of doing chocolate souffles because after done it ,I felt very successful.I dislike to make the captions because this is different to do it.I think I done the good job in doing captions because many people ask me how to do it.I think we need to more animation in the movie next time.

This is an example of "active voice"in the article "Governor's career nearly ruined by careless error"from SCMP.In the highlight sentence,the "Murray MacLehose" is the subject (receiver) and the "on to become Hong Kong's longest-serving governor" is the object (doer).

Things that I learnt in the English lesson last week

I have learnt some word using in cooking like grill,boil,steam,roast,mix,stir,bake. And I've learnt possessive nouns,either,neither,all,both,no.I learnt some vocabulary too for example: sculptor, sculture,copper,nature wonder,landmark,pesidents,stung,stringers,bellies, intertines,digest, architect,crown,prophibited,coral reef,fussy eater.

I think the most important word is whisk. Whisk means sweep.I think this word is important because it often seen in cooking.

After reading about the new seven wonders of the world , I think the most important word is "
extraordinary".I think this word mean special,wonderful. I think this is a special word for us to learn.

If a place in Hong Kong to be the ninth wonder of the world,I would choose The Giant Buddha & Po Lin Monastery.This is the one of the most popular place.It is the global highest outdoors bronze sits Buddha.I would choose this because builting a big buddha is a mission impossible. It is a magnificent structure!!

My Hobby

My hobby is reading.Reading have different types of books and I like to read fiction books more.I think reading is a good way to learn some new things.And we can find some interesting things inside.
